bthcip.vip Reviews
is bthcip.vip legitimate or a scam? Why is the trust score of bthcip.vip strongly low?
The website bthcip.vip appears to be a high-risk site. Here are the reasons:
Domain Age: The domain is relatively new, which is often a red flag for scam websites. Scammers frequently create new domains to avoid a negative reputation.
Domain Whois: The fact that the domain owner’s information is hidden can be a sign of a potentially untrustworthy website. Legitimate websites typically provide transparent ownership details.
SSL Information: The lack of specific SSL information, such as the organization and issuer, can be a concern. It’s important for websites to have valid SSL certificates to ensure secure connections.
Tranco Global Rank: The website has a very low Tranco global rank, indicating that it is not a well-established or widely recognized site.
Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) Age: The site has no recorded history in the Internet Archive, which could be suspicious. Legitimate websites often have a history of content and updates.
Server and IP Information: The absence of clear server and IP information can make it difficult to verify the website’s legitimacy and hosting infrastructure.

Keep software and operating systems up-to-date

Be careful when installing programs and apps
Pay close attention to installation options and uncheck agreements for toolbars and add-ons. Take care in every stage of the process.
Install an ad blocker
Advertisements can sometimes spread malware. Use ad blockers that stop malicious ads, images, and other content that antivirus might miss.
Be careful what you download
Research before downloading freeware or apps that might carry hidden malware. Be especially cautious with torrent files.
Be alert for people trying to trick you
Stay vigilant against phishing and social engineering. Remembxer that banks never ask for passwords, and familiar names don't make messages trustworthy.
Back up your data
Backup frequently and verify that backups can be restored. Use external drives disconnected from your computer or trusted cloud services.
Choose strong passwords
Use unique passwords for all accounts. Avoid personal information and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) when possible.
Be careful where you click
Exercise caution with links or attachments from unknown sources. These could contain malware or phishing scams.
Don't use pirated software
Avoid key generators, file sharing programs, and cracked software. These are often compromised with malware or crypto-miners.

I traded on this platform on May 13th, 2024 and was able to withdraw my funds afterwards. I traded again on May 16th and tried to withdraw my funds, and they said the transaction was suspended and I needed to contact customer service. Customer service (text only) said my funds were at risk and I needed to have $500 in my account to attempt another withdrawal. At risk for what??? And how is more money going to make anything safe??? Now I can't even access the customer service text page. Stay away from this scamming site!!! |
