Why we founded MAD-HALL: I was tired of paying for every piece of crap.

As a producer, I used to release music through DistroKid. At first it sounded good – cheap, fast, easy. But the longer I used it, the more, excuse the expression, I got sick of it. There was an extra fee for everything and there was always some kind of restriction or threat that if I left, they would delete my tracks.

Do you want Shazam? You pay extra.

Do you want YouTube Content ID? Another extra fee.

Do you want to add a producer for a collab? Well, another fee.
And even if you pay for everything, you still feel like your music is just hanging in the system and no one cares about it. Moreover, DistroKid often doesn’t fill in even half of the important information that is needed for the release to go smoothly.
Simply a piece of cake – and the corporate is only thinking about where to put another wall for you that you will have to tear down with your wallet.

And that is exactly why we founded MAD-HALL.

We didn’t want to keep forcing artists to pay for every checkbox in the system. We wanted to get a distribution that makes sense, has a clear model and where you know what you are paying for – and that it has real value.

Thanks to the connection to The Orchard (Sony Music), we now offer top-notch distribution that is only available to major labels, corporations and well-known artists. And we can also offer it to individuals. Yes – even if you are an independent producer, you have access to the same platform as the biggest players. And real support, community and tools that will push your releases further.

We stand behind MAD-HALL as producers, not as a corporation. We know what it is like to be on the other side. And that is why we have built a system that is fair, simple and, most importantly, functional. We have connected the biggest giant with us, artists from villages and cities.

Here you do not pay for every piece of crap separately. Here you build something that makes sense.

I always wanted to have a place in the Czech Republic where musicians could meet and collaborate.

As a producer, I have always lacked a place in the Czech Republic where every musician could present themselves, establish collaborations and get real opportunities – whether to perform or grow as an artist. That is why I am excited that I was able to join forces with AVOR and together we created MAD-HALL.

It is a space where producers have everything they need – from releasing music to live performances to a community of people who pull together. We have been missing this comprehensive support for producers in the Czech Republic for a long time, and MAD-HALL wants to change that.

MAD-HALL also includes distribution through The Orchard – a world-renowned platform used by names like Skrillex, Pitbull, NBA, Ozuna and Tiësto.

I am honored to be able to release my music through the same network that is behind such important projects. Another huge advantage is the Czech support, no hidden fees and fair conditions. Everything is clear, transparent and fully professional – the ideal solution for anyone who wants to take their music seriously.

MadHall is a great group of people who have a real flair for organizing music events. I don’t know anyone in the Czech Republic who puts so much effort into each event and cares so much about the atmosphere, visuals, and overall satisfaction of the visitors. I’ve had the opportunity to perform at events organized by MadHall twice and I have to say that the huge amount of energy and time they put into it is incredible.

In addition to the organization itself, the guys are also great at graphics and promotion. It’s clear that they put their best into it. On a personal level, they are also really nice people who are a pleasure to chat with.

It’s great to see that at a time when current trends are not making it easy for the electronic scene in the Czech Republic, someone is working so hard to keep EDM culture alive! Respect MadHall.

Mad-Hall events, they are great as dj’s and their sets are packed with energy. I have experienced two Madhalls, I enjoyed both..
I am a fan of Madhall even though I like a different style of music (punk)
