Happy 10th Anniversary to HuniePop!!

That’s right! Believe it or not, HuniePop — the silly Match 3 game where you get to bang all the girls — is officially TEN years old as of today (January 19th, 2025). I’m not usually very big on celebrating these types of occasions, but given the milestone, I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone for all the support over the last decade.

In addition to the whole Hunie series being on sale all week… for TODAY only, you can grab HuniePop absolutely 100% FREE!

To celebrate 10 years of matching and snatching, the original HuniePop team and I got together to produce a couple of small treats that we hope you’ll enjoy.

Starting with the spectacular anniversary artwork above that was done by original character and background artist, Kopianget! If you take a closer look, you may notice a few characters you didn’t see the first time.

HuniePop just wouldn’t be what it is without that sweet & savory BGM. So, original composer World of Wandag and I put together this little medley featuring a selection of songs from the game! We decided to limit ourselves to eight tracks, so I apologize if your favorite didn’t make the cut. It’s hard to narrow it down when the whole OST is just one banger after the last!

A new HuniePop CG in 2025!?

One memory that has always stuck with me from the time HuniePop came out is how some players were a bit disappointed that they never really got to see ALL of fan favorite girl Audrey. We FINALLY got around to updating our crusty ass website. The new huniepot.com is your one stop shop for the whole Hunie series as well as future news and updates!

• Edited the uncensored version of the “Ashley x Polly” photo to show Polly’s junk, which properly reflects her junk setting on the save file.
• Edited the uncensored version of the “Lillian x Zoey” photo to show Zoey’s tits, because we realized she doesn’t show them anywhere else.
• Made a couple of small corrections to the “Kyu x Lola” tutorial CG.
• Removed bracelets from a couple of Ashley’s outfits because they were clipping through certain hairstyles.
• Fixed a bug that caused the *creamy* version of the CGs to remain visible by default if you switched your save file’s gender setting from male to female.
• Corrected an exploit that allowed players to buy difficulty exclusive hygiene date gifts and still be able to use them even after downgrading their save file’s difficultly.
• Made it so that Zoey will never randomly ask about the girl that she is currently with because we thought that was a little weird.
• Added an Alpha Mode toggle setting to each save file’s reconfiguration menu (which you can access by clicking the girl head icon associated with your save file on the “continue” title screen menu). This replaces the old awkward method of toggling Alpha Mode across all save files with the “BETA 4 EVA” code. The code method will no longer work.

Steam & GOG achievements have been added to HuniePop 2: Double Date! Just grab the latest update (v1.0.5) and you’ll have access to a mix of 20 total progress and challenge achievements to unlock.

The achievements that can be retroactively unlocked, will be. This means that the game will check your existing save files and automatically award you with achievements that you have technically already earned.

Note: You can NOT earn achievements on Chad/Stacy (Easy) difficulty. Achievements can only be unlocked within save files that are set to Average Guy/Girl or higher difficulty.

ACHIEVEMENTS LIST (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)

• Unchaste: Earn your first pair of fairy wings.
• Unchaste With Haste: Earn your first pair of fairy wings within one in-game day.
• Debauchery: Collect enough fairy wings to summon the Nymphojinn.
• Debauchery Without Delay: Collect enough fairy wings to summon the Nymphojinn within 15 in-game days.
• Savior: Return the Nymphojinn to a satisfied slumber.
• Super Savior: Return the Nymphojinn to a satisfied slumber on Incel/Femcel (Hard) difficulty.
• Hikikomori: Earn a 100% completion rate.
• Hyper Hikikomori: Earn a 100% completion rate on Incel/Femcel (Hard) difficulty.
• Alpha Apprentice: Successfully complete 8 Alpha Mode dates.
• Alpha Adept: Successfully complete 24 Alpha Mode dates.
• Non-Stop Novice: Successfully complete a Non-Stop date of 8 or more rounds.
• Non-Stop Ninja: Successfully complete a Non-Stop date of 16 or more rounds.
• Quickie: Successfully complete a date with at least 20 moves remaining.
• Fill ‘Er Up: Successfully complete a date with both girls having maxed out passion, sentiment and stamina.
• Like It Rough: Successfully complete a date wherein the girls become exhausted or upset at least 8 times between them.
• Smooth Move: Earn 5000 or more affection from a single token match.

• The store now has tabs that let you filter the items by item type.
• You can now click the girl pair relationship slots within the a girl’s profile to instantly switch over to the opposite girl’s profile.
• Just for fun, there is now a 10% chance that Kyu will show up in one of four alternate outfits when you visit her at the hotel room.
• Added a code that lets players swap out Abia’s headwear for alternate hairstyles. This can be done if certain players have a particular sensitivity to her normal fashion sense, or just to mix things up a little. All you have to do is submit the code “THE HAIRIER THE BETTER” in the code section of the title screen. If you want to swap back, just submit the code again.
• Changed the compression on some of our art assets so they look a little better.
• Fixed a whole bunch of typos.

February 24th, 2021

• I have added keyboard shortcuts that players can use to change the screen resolution at any time. Pressing “Ctrl+DownArrow” will make the screen resolution smaller and “Ctrl+UpArrow” will make it bigger. I am hoping that this will help some of the players who are having screen resolution issues. I have tested this on a 4:3 monitor that was cutting off part of the game window and using the shortcut keys to make the resolution smaller worked like a charm. I realize it’s not a perfect solution but I hope it will suffice for now.
• More than a few players have reported that smoothies, unique gifts and/or shoes stopped showing up in the store under the impression that it must be a bug. This actually isn’t a bug, but I completely understand the confusion. The availability of these gifts is influenced by how much baggage the player has learned about. If a player notices that these items are not showing up, it just means they need to talk to the girls more and learn about more baggage. This wasn’t really explained so I added a special notice at the end of Kyu’s baggage explanation scene that makes the relationship between baggage and the store much more clear.

• Fixed a bug that was allowing players to unlock post-game “expanded wardrobe” outfits by completing alpha mode dates.

• Major Performance Improvements: I’ve made some serious optimizations which has resulted in a greatly smaller file size, a significant reduction in memory usage, and a much faster start up time. I hope this will help some of the players who are having trouble starting the game. • Some players with uncommon screen sizes/resolutions have reported display issues, such as part of the game window being cut off. I changed some of the Unity build settings that will hopefully offer more support for a larger range of screens.
• Fixed a bug where Nora’s “Abandonment Issues” baggage (and possibly other types of baggage) would carry over to the bonus round if you used a hygiene date gift on her during the date.
• Fixed a bug where matching the bonus round version of the passion token would still display a “%” in front to the word “Pleasure”.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS START

• Players can now unlock hairstyles & outfits that they haven’t unlocked yet in Non-Stop Mode.

Note: Some bug reports are not universal and seem to only apply to a very small handful of players with a specific hardware configuration. These problems are much harder to diagnose and will take some time to get to the bottom of. I may even try to reach out to you and ask for your help if you are one of these players.
